Gujarat WCD describes Vahali Dikri as staged support for eligible girl children born on or after 2 August 2019. The WCD scheme page lists ₹4,000 at Standard 1 entry, ₹6,000 at Standard 9 entry, and ₹1 lakh at age 18 for higher education or marriage. The mother must have been at least 18 at the child’s birth, couple annual income must not exceed ₹2 lakh, and the girl must be among the couple’s first three children.
