About JanKosh
Public scheme information, made easier to use.
JanKosh is an independent project that helps people explore government schemes and understand which published eligibility criteria may apply to them.
What we do
We organize scheme information into a searchable directory and provide an eligibility guide that compares the answers you enter with available scheme rules. The guide is a starting point for research, not an application or an official eligibility decision.
Independent, not a government service
JanKosh is privately maintained and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of India or any state government. Government names and scheme marks belong to their respective owners.
Use official sources
Scheme rules and application windows can change. Use the official links on each scheme page to confirm current details. JanKosh does not submit applications or make official eligibility decisions. Send corrections through our Contact page.
