National Overseas Scholarship for SC Students (NOS-SC)
A scheme providing financial assistance to students from Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers, and Traditional Artisans for pursuing Master's and PhD degrees at accredited foreign universities. Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (PM-SC)
A Centrally Sponsored Scheme implemented through State Governments and UT administrations to support parents of SC children and other disadvantaged categories for education at the pre-matric stage. Aims to improve participation, minimize drop-out rates, and enable progression to post-matric education. Component 1 covers SC students in Class 9-10; Component 2 covers children of manual scavengers, tanners, waste pickers, and hazardous cleaning workers in Class 1-10.
National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)
